CHILI & SOUP COOK-OFF

It’s time for the Annual Chili & Soup Cook-Off!

It has been our experience in the past, that more is better! So if you’re inclined to be an overachiever, bring two pots to compete. If not, no worries, everyone will be competing. So bring on your best entry!

Dinner will include various chili recipes and soups, rice, cornbread, loaf bread, and lots of desserts. A kid-friendly menu will also be available.

Below are a few housekeeping items that we would encourage all entering to follow:

• RSVP, chili/soup sign-up, and volunteering will all take place at the link below.
• We would like everyone to please sign up by February 25.
• We are hoping for 20 chilis and 20 soups.
• If you are not bringing soup or chili, please bring a dessert to share!
• We will be accepting entries starting at 5:00 pm on March 5. Please try to be early as dinner will be served promptly at 6:00 pm.
• You will receive an index card to include a brief description of your entry (For example, with meat, vegetarian, etc.)
• Many volunteers are needed to prepare for this special event. Please visit the RSVP link to see the various areas of need.
• Childcare is available, but you need to request it using the form below (separate from the RSVP link).

Children are welcomed to this event and childcare will be provided (beginning at 6:30 pm) for ages 2 through 10.

A few important things:

• Children must eat before being dropped off
• Children cannot leave the room unless they are picked up by a parent (no running through the halls)
• There will be 2 rooms: One for ages 2-4 and one for ages 5-10.

Reply as soon as possible using the link below, as spots will fill up quickly. The sign-up will close when all spaces are filled. Childcare requests must be made by February 28th.
